Liberia is one of the world’s most impoverished countries where over 80% of its population is uneducated. The country’s educational system has been gravely weakened by the ravages of twenty years of civil crisis. In addition, the impact of the 10 month long Ebola epidemic has left hundreds of kids orphaned and families financially paralyzed.
8 out of every 10 Liberian children do not have access to education due to lack of access to primary and secondary schools. The cost of education is financially over bearing for the average family leaving 80% of kids with No Hope of being educated.
A call to educate a child is the best way to share and display the love of Christ and fight poverty.
