On behalf of our founders, Francis K. Sio and Saya Doe Sio and the entire Annie T. Doe Memorial Foundation board, we would like to express our appreciation to our keynote speaker and honoree, Leymah Gbowee, Deputy Speaker of the House of representative of Liberia, Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, International Gospel artist, David Mell -The Psalmist, and the many sponsors and supporters who contributed to the tremendous success of this year's gala!
The 11th Annual Fundraising Gala under the theme "Building for the Future" was truly amazing! We are extremely grateful for the continuous support of our supporters. Our theme was our mission to construct the new ATDOE high school (10th -12th grades) for our 430+ students, expand our educational, women's empowerment, and health care programs for the communities we serve in Liberia and for our local Charlotte, NC Community.
With your endless support, the sold out celebration which took place at the UNC Charlotte Marriott Hotel & Conference Center on Saturday, September 17th brought together 220+ individuals, organizations, churches, and volunteers who contributed to the "Building for the Future" fundraising campaign.
Your financial commitment fueled another record-breaking fundraising gala and helped us raise $140,000 of our $200,000 goal!
THANK YOU! We hope you had a good time, celebrating with us in person after attending our gala virtually for the past two years. To those who could not be present but supported us financially we hope to see you next year!
