4th Women Sewing Program

Wow! We are excited to kick off the 4th Women’s Sewing Training Program. Through the support you give to the Annie T. Doe Memorial Foundation, we are continuing to restore women’s social and economic status and break the cycle of poverty that have plagued many in impoverished communities in Liberia. Every year at least 30 women from various impoverished communities across Buchanan , Liberia are empowered through the ATDOE women’s sewing program. This is a free six month intense sewing training that teaches women the art of stitching and techniques for using sewing tools and equipment. The women also become masters of taking measurements and making patterns to design their own products. Upon graduation they begin to earn income to care for themselves and their families. Let’s welcome the new round of participants of the ATDOE sewing program! #ATDOEMF #womenempowerment #income #education #family #strongercommunities #investinginwomen #Liberia
