Team Enjoying Time at the Academy

Today our US based team led by our founders Francis & Saya Sio, along with Carmen & Lynn Carter, Kathryn & Derrick Montgomery; and John Allen Goodman were so touched while visiting with students and staff at the ATDoe Academy in Buchanan. Our 540 students presented the team flowers, performed cultural dances and recited various warm greetings. The team spent the day touring every class K1-9th grades and meeting with school staffs as well as the women that are participating in the various empowerment programs such as free sewing training, computer literary and Tye & Dye and soap making.

While in Liberia, the ATDOE team will open our new computer lab, participate in free health fair for the locals, host the ground breaking ceremony for the Annie T Doe new Senior High School and community clinic which is scheduled for this Saturday, March 4th at 11am. In addition the tea will also distribute 15,000 pairs of shoes to various schools, orphanages, ZOGOs and organizations across Liberia including the students at the ATDOE academy in Buchanan Grand Bassa County. The shoes were donated to the Foundation by Samaritan's Feet International.
