Your Health Matters

ATDOE Medical team….today our local medical team lead by Patience Wesseh, RN and 6 other volunteer nurses in collaboration with our health team in the U.S. , conducted a successful health fair for local Lower Buchanan communities. The team provided basic diabetes care, blood pressure screening, hygiene and dental awareness. Free blood pressure and diabetic medication was also provided to residents with known history of diabetes and hypertension. A total of 103 residents were screened with an additional 37 residents to follow-up with the local team in the next few weeks for high or low blood sugar and blood pressure check ups.
