What We Do
Our projects
Women’s Empowerment Through Microfinance
On March 24, 2021, our U.S.-based team launched the final phase of the ATDOE Women’s Microfinancing Program in Monrovia, Montserrado County, Liberia. Through this initiative, 66 women from Bassa, Nimba, and Montserrado counties received interest-free small business loans, payable over 12 months, after completing microfinance training.
These empowered women have pledged to serve as brand ambassadors for the ATDOE Women’s Empowerment Program—spreading awareness and inspiring others.
We are deeply grateful to our anonymous donor for investing in the futures of these women.
Program Expansion
To further support women’s economic independence, we are expanding our empowerment program to include:
Soap and Clora making
Tie-dye and fabric design
Interior decorating
Fashion and tailoring skills
Together, we’re equipping women with practical tools to build sustainable businesses and stronger communities.
Vocational Training
Women’s Microfinancing Program
Our Women’s Microfinancing Program provides interest-free loans to empower women to launch and grow small businesses. The program begins with a one-day workshop focused on budget planning, expense management, and simple business techniques.
Participants also receive basic training in entrepreneurship, learning how to effectively manage limited capital and build sustainable ventures. At the end of the workshop, each woman receives a certificate of completion and an interest-free loan to support her business proposal.
We believe women are powerful change agents—and empowering a woman is one of the most effective ways to rebuild a nation.
