About Us

Today, we uphold her legacy by providing access to quality education and life skills for those who need it most. Through our programs, we strive to break the cycle of poverty and create lasting impact, one student, one woman, one community at a time.
Education
Since opening in 2014 with 75 students, the Annie T. Doe Memorial Academy has grown by over 500%, empowering hundreds of underprivileged children in Buchanan Grand Bassa County, Liberia. with access to quality education and hope.
Women
We believe empowering women is one of the most effective ways to rebuild a nation. Young girls and single mothers remain especially vulnerable, still facing uncertainty in the aftermath of Liberia’s 14-year civil war.
Health care
The Annie T. Doe Memorial Family Health Center offers free basic healthcare to women and children in marginalized communities, including immunizations and annual physical check-ups to support long-term wellness and prevention.
Scholarship
As part of our commitment to the Charlotte, North Carolina community, the Annie T. Doe Memorial Foundation provides financial assistance to graduating high school students pursuing higher education.

At the Annie T. Doe Memorial Academy, our Christian faith guides everything we do. We seek Christ first in all our endeavors, standing on the promise of Matthew 6:33.

A core pillar of our mission, the Academy provides free Christian-based education to 560 underprivileged children in K1 through 10th grade in Sugar Cane Farm, Lower Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, Liberia.
