Empowering The Global Woman

Over the past 13 years, hundreds of women have benefitted from our various skills training programs and have become entrepreneurs, owning their own businesses upon graduation. We create job opportunities for the women that complete the 6-months sewing training program to produce uniforms for our 600 students annually.

Women Empowerment Programs

Stitch-2-Survive

Over 500 women graduates over the past three years from the Annie T. Doe Memorial Foundation Intensive Sewing Training Program. Graduates produced over 2,000 sets of uniforms for ATDoe academy students and authentic African fashions through the “Global Woman Production House” Which are sold on the Annie T. Doe Memorial Foundation Website.

 

Over a six-month period, participants gain hands-on skills in tailoring, garment creation, and fashion entrepreneurship, empowering them to build sustainable businesses and transform their futures. Fashioning hope, one stitch at a time.

Interior Decoration

We recently launched a new women’s empowerment program called Interior decoration and Fashion Design training 150 women from various impoverished communities across Buchanan

Our Interior Design Program empowers women with creative and marketable skills to transform spaces and build thriving businesses.

Participants learn the fundamentals of color, layout, home styling, and event decoration, gaining hands-on experience that leads to income-generating opportunities.

Micro Financing Program – Money Matter

The Foundation’s goal is to empower hundreds women across Liberia through Micro Financing Program.
The Program provides interest free loans for 12 months to empower women to start small businesses. They will participate in a 1-day workshop on basic business principles for budget and expense management and learn how to become better entrepreneurs leveraging limited capital .

Program was launched in 3 counties (Grand Bassa, Montserrado and Nimba). At completion of the workshop, 66 women received a certificate and $150 US interest free loan each to support their initial business proposals

Computer Literacy

The Foundation provides a computer lab and reading room, giving students and community members first-time access to technology and digital learning. Our programs focus on computer literacy for underserved women and girls, equipping them with essential skills for education, employment, and empowerment.

Tie & Dying, Clorox & Soap Making

We recently launched a free skills training program in tie & dye, Clorox, and soap making—empowering 30+ women from impoverished communities across Grand Bassa County, Liberia.

Through Soap-2-Save, these women are gaining practical, income-generating skills that will help them build businesses and support their families.

She is EVERYTHING + MORE. The Global Woman’s annual Tea & Shop brings together women from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and build strong community of sisterhood to support one another in various capacity.
